Located in rolling Normandy countryside
Although Le Fresne is situated in rolling Normandy countryside its just 20-30 minutes’ drive from the glorious beaches of the Cotentin coastline and many tourist attractions such as Le Mont St Michel.
The nearest town of Ducey is just 6km away and has everything you need to enjoy your stay including a boulangerie, a bank, chemists and several excellent bars and restaurants. Ducey is also home to Chateau des Mongommery which is often open to the public for exhibitions and tours, and during the summer months the grounds are surrounded by magnificent floral displays!
The historic town of Avranches is also just a short drive away and well worth a visit.
Transformation to a beautiful family home
The property is owned by Karen Hutchin who purchased Les Fresne in 1996, and even with a tumbledown roof and the neighbour’s cows living inside, she knew it could be turned into a beautiful family home. Karen and her family spent 8 years restoring Le Fresne to its former glory, and now the family have grown, Le Fresne is available for guests to enjoy a relaxing and comfortable holiday.
Karen loves the lush rolling countryside and relaxed French way of life, and she’s sure you will too.
